Tales on the River

This speaker series, hosted by the Short Grass Arts Council, has been an annual tradition in the Pierre/Ft. Pierre area for over 10 years. Tales on the River is held every Thursday evening in June, July (except July 4th) and August at 7:00pm at the Ft. Pierre Moose Lodge, 910 N. Deadwood Street, Ft. Pierre, SD. Scheduled speakers share their personal stories, their experiences, or perhaps their expertise on a variety of topics. "We believe that the art of storytelling brings people and communities together...everyone has a stroy to tell!" These events are always free and open to the public. Donations are greatly appreciated! (The Ladies of the Moose provide a light supper starting at 6:15pm for a cost of $6.00 for those who wish to partake in the meal.)
