Leadership Pierre Session 8 Healthcare
The Leadership Pierre Class of 2025–2026 recently completed Session Eight: Healthcare, sponsored by Avera Health. Participants spent the day learning about the many components that make up the healthcare system in central South Dakota through tours, panel discussions, and conversations with local healthcare leaders. Stops included the Avera Careflight Hangar, Avera’s Capital City Campus, Capital Area Counseling Services, Shane’s Pharmacy, and LifeServe Blood Center. The session highlighted the collaboration
