Leadership Pierre Class Celebrates Graduation Following Final Session
The Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce proudly celebrated the graduation of the 2025-2026 Leadership Pierre class following the program’s final session held on Thursday, May 14.
Throughout the year, participants took part in hands-on learning experiences, leadership development sessions, panel discussions, and community tours designed to strengthen their understanding of Pierre and Fort Pierre while building stronger leaders for the future of central South Dakota.
The final session focused on Arts & Culture and gave participants the opportunity to explore several important community organizations and attractions, including the Casey Tibbs Rodeo Center Museum, Pierre Players Community Theater, and the South Dakota National Guard Museum. The day concluded with an in-person “Next Level Leading” session led by Erik Therwanger at the Ramkota Hotel & Conference Center before graduates were recognized during the official graduation ceremony.
Leadership Pierre continues to provide participants with opportunities to grow professionally, strengthen community connections, and develop the leadership skills needed to positively impact the region. This year’s class represented a diverse group of industries and organizations across the Pierre and Fort Pierre communities, helping foster collaboration and new perspectives throughout the program.
