Part-time Sales, Customer Service and Design - Dakota Classique Rock
Description
This part time position will exist for the purpose of helping the DCR department to achieve sales goals while assisting customers by creating designs of customer carved boulders and memorials. This position will offer flexibility of working hours and location. It will focus on design and sales of carved boulders and memorials but offers diversity in daily activities, assisting the department manager, creating relationships with outside customers as you inform and guide them through our processes. Opportunities to grow creatively and financially through commissions paid on memorials and carved boulder signs.
Customer Service and sales:
Providing information to customers on our products and services, collecting customer information to be used for quoting carved boulder projects for signs and memorials.
Assistant Design and Sales of Memorials and carved boulders:
Coordinate start to finish process for each assigned customer’s memorial request. This will include working closely with the customer, creating mock-up designs using computer design program, price quoting, working with cemetery sexton or others to comply with cemetery rules, create patterns, and work order instructions for the shop to follow. Coordinating delivery schedule. Accepting down payments and compiling billing information.
Other duties as asked to perform:
These duties may include answering and directing phone calls, taking customer information, greeting or meeting customers to discuss projects other than memorials, taking photos, helping with inventory, painting, packaging, mailing brochures, shared leaning.
Requirements
Design skills and computer skills using Adobe Illustrator. Exceptional qualities for making customers feel important and welcome. Professional in appearance and mannerisms. A Team player with all employees. Able to multi task and be organized, self motivated, able to take direction. Project oriented with attention to detail, enthusiastic with a positive personality.
