After bringing home the 2025 Statewide Rooster Rush Award, our communities are more motivated than ever to keep the spirit strong—and keep this honor local—with the help of our amazing businesses, schools, and residents. We’re ready to roll out the orange carpet for pheasant season, and yes—Rudy the Rooster is ready to step out and join the fun! Let’s work together to showcase why Pierre and Fort Pierre are the best place to celebrate Rooster Rush. Be sure to stop by the Pierre Visitors Center at 800 W.
