SD Wind Energy Association Membership Meeting

The South Dakota Wind Energy Association (SDWEA) will hold its inaugural Membership Meeting on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Kings Inn in Pierre. The keynote speaker will be Larry Flowers, principal project leader for the National Wind Technology Center at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. Flowers will provide a national perspective on the current and future status of wind energy. Following Flowers' presentation, representatives from Great River Energy, Western Area Power Administration, LS Power and Green Power Express will be included in a panel discussion regarding transmission. Registration begins at 9:30am with the meeting adjourning at 3:15pm. Cost is $10 before November 25th and $15 after this date.
