SD High School Rodeo Finals
The South Dakota High School State Finals Rodeo will be held in Fort Pierre at the Stanley County Fairgrounds June 15 – 19, 2021. Over 300 of the state’s top high school rodeo athletes will compete for championship saddles, buckles and prizes, along for a spot to represent South Dakota on the national team. National High School Finals Rodeo will be Lincoln, Nebraska in July, 2021.
The event will be heard through the announcer voices of Sugar Ray Quinn and Terri Kissack. The event will hold 5 Rodeo Performances and 3 Cutting and Reined Cow Horse Performances, manned by top rodeo personnel and stock to compete on. Food and product vendors will sell their goods, all held at the Stanley County Fairgrounds in Fort Pierre.

The High School Board, at their annual board meeting in September, voted for the location of the State Finals Rodeo to be held at the Stanley County Fairgrounds in Fort Pierre, SD, through 2023.
