Church St. Join us for an author talk and book signing with Jim McKeown, Ph.D., author of BELIEVE: The Story of Lovely’s Curse. McKeown’s book offers an inside look at South Dakota’s first basketball dynasty, telling the remarkable story of how the small town of Elkton battled accusations, threats, and bribery on their rise to the pinnacle of high school sports. After reaching that height, the team and community endured decades of disappointment before finally returning to the state tournament.
