Post 8 Baseball Night
The VFW Teeners, American Legion and Rattlers will field teams at Hyde Stadium on May 18 in the annual Pierre Post 8 Baseball Night. All players in the Post 8 program will bat in the exhibition games. The fun begins at 5:00 p.m. with the Teener 13-14 squad vs. the Teener "B's".
At 6:00 p.m. or shortly after, the Teener A's and the Split Squad will play against each other. At about 7:30 p.m., the American Legion Varsity will take the field against the Pierre Rattlers.
The Rattlers are the local adult amateur team. The A's and B's are the two 15-16 Teeners teams. The Split Squad is a combination of Teeners and American Legion players.
The concession stand will be open and family season passes will be available.
