Photography for Agritourism Virtual Workshops
SDSU Extension will be hosting a virtual photography workshop with two opportunities to join on Monday, October 12 or Tuesday, October 13 to help build a catalog of images to market your agritourism business!
Take your agritourism marketing and promotion to the next level by sharpening your photo skills. Learn how to best present your operation through photography - even if it is just your phone! With basic composition, lighting, content ideas and more, this workshop is geared to help you build a catalog of great images to market your business! In this 90 minute workshop, learn from agri-tourism operator Crystal Neuharth and professional photographer Abby Bischoff. Join us for this workshop that will be held at two separate times so you can select the date and time that work best for you.
Crystal Neuharth makes her home on their family farm near Hayes, South Dakota. There Crystal and her family share their Agriculture story with anyone who wants to listen. They promote youth agriculture education and focus their operation around family, diversity and soil health. Crystal is married to Levi Neuharth and they have 3 children; Johnathon, Justin and Kaydee. She grew up near Midland, South Dakota on a farm. Her passions are photography, quilting, scrapbooking, livestock, and her family. Crystal loves to capture and share moments around their farm and South Dakota to share with others to inspire them to visit or create memories of their own.

Abby Bischoff is nonprofit professional and a photographer from Sioux Falls. Abby is the Executive Director for the Stockyards Ag Experience, a nonprofit located at Falls Park that seeks to connect people to agriculture. When she’s not sharing the story of ag, she’s got a camera in her hands as the photographer behind Flock Studio and Abandoned: South Dakota. Abby is a farm kid originally from Huron, South Dakota and spent her summers swimming in ponds, taming Hereford cows and participating in 4-H. Abby is a proud journalism graduate from South Dakota State University and likes indie music and heartfelt television comedies. Her not-so-secret vices are strong coffee, baby goat videos, bold lipstick and spending way too much time trying to tame the squirrels in her backyard. She is the world’s greatest aunt and lives in Sioux Falls with her cat Nancy Purrlosi.
