Charity Night Fishing Tournament

The 2nd Annual "Full Moon Rendezvous Fishing Tournament" will be held this Friday, August 14th. The tournament is a fundraiser for Central South Dakota Teen Court, with matching funds of up to $500 provided by the Oahe Optimist Club. The tournament will be held at Spring Creek Resort. There is a $25 per person entry fee(teams may be comprised of as many people as your boat will hold based on Coast Guard specifications) and up to 30 teams may enter the tournament. Two walleyes will be weighed for each team. The top five teams will be paid out: 1st place: $500, 2nd place: $400, 3rd place: $300, 4th place: $200 and 5th place: $100. A $100 cash prize will also be paid out to the person who catches the largest walleye. Tournament festivities kick off at 5:30pm with a potluck and fish fry. The boat launch is at 7:30pm, and weigh-in will be held early Saturday morning at 1:00am. The tournament is hosted by Bob Stalley and Matt Brakke.
