Stanley County native Brenda Donelan will discuss her book "Day of the Dead." Nov. 1 and 2 are known as the day of the Dead in some cultures. It is a time to honor deceased friends and family members. A professor at Northern State University in Aberdeen was found dead on the NSU campus on Nov. 1, 2004, the Day of the Dead. Police called the death "suspicious." Brenda based her book "Day of the Dead" on that event. The book launched her career as an author and is the first book in the University Mystery series.
