
American Legion Dinner
The National Commander of the American Legion, Clarence Hill will visit the American Legion Pierre Post 8 cabin on May 11, 2010 approximately 5:30 p.m.
Comander Hill is visting South Dakota and will be traveling across the state making several stops, one of which will be Pierre. Commander HIll will visit local government officials and members of Veteran's organizations.
After dinner, Commander Hill will continue on to Rapid City, SD.
Any member of teh American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, adn the Sons of the American Legion is welcome. Please RSVP with Scott Marron at 605-224-7681.
Clarence Hill of Martins Ferry, Ohio, was elected as the National Commander of the 2.5 million-member American Legion on August 27, 2009 in Louisville, KY during the 91st National Convention. A legionnaire of 27 years, Hill is a life member and three time Commander of Post 316 in Atlantic Beach, FL. He is alos a member of the Sons of the American Legion and the American Legion Riders.
