Ramkota Hotel & Conference Center Celebrates Exciting Remodel with Ribbon Cutting and Open House!

PIERRE, SD — The Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Thursday, May 22, 2025, celebrating the exciting remodel of the Ramkota Hotel & Conference Center in Pierre. The event marked a major milestone for the well-known property, which has undergone significant renovations designed to enhance both guest comfort and event capabilities.

The Ribbon Cutting was followed by a Grand Reopening & Open House to give the public a first-hand look at the upgrades. They also had complimentary appetizers, wine, and beer while touring the refreshed spaces and modernized amenities.

The remodel includes updated guest rooms—many now featuring walk-in showers—as well as improvements to the conference center, lobby, restaurant, and bar. These upgrades represent a modern touch with the focus on the guest and customer experience.
