AMR 25th Anniversary Celebration and Ribbon Cutting

The Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce was proud to be part of the ribbon cutting for American Medical Response in Pierre on Wednesday, September 30th, 2026.The Ribbon Cutting was to celebrate their 25th Anniversary! 

AMR Pierre South Dakota provides emergency and non-emergency medical transport service for Hughes and Stanley Counties in central South Dakota. Founded in 2001, AMR Pierre South Dakota employs approximately 14 paramedics and EMTs and handles on average 1,100 transports annually. 

AMR Pierre South Dakota participates in a number of public service activities and provides ambulance standby services for events. The operation also offers CPR classes on an as-needed basis.

Located at 2315 E. Dakota Avenue, Pierre.
