4th Annual Sharpe Showdown Walleye Fishing Tournament Announces Winners
PIERRE, SD — The 4th Annual Sharpe Showdown Walleye Fishing Tournament, held on Lake Sharpe April 25 & 26, 2026, brought anglers together for a successful and competitive weekend celebrating fishing and community in the Lower Oahe region.
Hosted by the Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce and The Fishing Crew, the tournament featured strong participation, impressive catches, and exciting daily weigh-ins at the Steamboat Park Amphitheatre.
The 2026 tournament winners are as follows:
- 1st Place: Melissa Daughtrey and Justin Cole
- 2nd Place: Lorin Skipper and Justin Skipper
- 3rd Place: Ryan Weekly and Travor Diegel
