Welcome Reception for Japanese Taiko Drum Ensemble ONDEKOZA

Help us welcome our international guests! Among the world’s premier Taiko drumming ensembles, Ondekoza is in Pierre and Ft. Pierre for a week long intensive residency, as part of Arts Midwest World Fest, which aims to foster appreciation for global uniqueness and differences. Ondekoza is widely recognized as one of the groups to have set the groundwork for taiko as a performance art. The short reception welcomes them to our area and provides a brief introduction to their music.
