Rongen Unveils New Book "Fundamentally Female"

National speaker, author, and friend to many Pierre residents, Renee Rongen will be returning to Pierre on Monday, November 19^thto share her experience of writing and publishing her new book “Fundamentally Female”.

Rongen has been a featured speaker for several local organizations including the South Dakota Women’s Lifestyle Conference, St. Mary’s Healthcare Center, and the South Dakota Governor’s Conference on Tourism.  Her humor, experience, and insight have been the inspiration for the beautifully illustrated and written book, Fundamentally Female”.

Rongen, a master storyteller, has gathered a feast of quips, quotes, provocative vignettes, and tender stories that span the gamut of the female experience. Each page is sprinkled with wonderfully eclectic artwork created by artists from around the world.  Included in this compilation, is a story written by Pierre author, Dawn Woods.

Rongen will be appearing at the RedRossa Italian Grille in Pierre on Monday, November 19^thfrom 4:00-6:30 PM. Copies of Fundamentally Female will be available for sale and signing. At 5:30 PM Renee will share her journey of writing and publishing the book.  She will also donate a portion of the book sales to the Missouri Shores Domestic Violence Center.  Reservations are not required.
