
Postal Service Public Meeting
The U.S. Postal Service will hold a public meeting to discuss its proposal to move some mail processing operations from Pierre's Customer Service Mail Processing Center into the Dakota Central Processing and Distribution Facility in Huron.
The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10 in the Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce Community Room, 800 W. Dakota Ave. Postal Service managers will give an overview of the reasons for the proposal, possible outcomes and will listen to community input and concerns.
