Eagles and Bagels

Learn all about the park's winter residents and enjoy a snack on the 14th annual "Eagles and Bagels" Walk in the Park on Saturday, February 6. The annual event always has great attendance. This is a great opportunity for participants to get out and enjoy our South Dakota winter and view our nation's bird - the Bald Eagle. The event includes a 2-mile walk around the park to view and observe the Bald Eagles. Shuttle is provided for those not able to walk the entire distance. Children are encouraged to attend. A special presentation precedes the walk.
