Seasonal Truck Driver – Pierre, SD
Pay Rate: $18.85 – $30.10/hr 
Job Type: Seasonal (March – End of July; potential for fall work in Sept/Oct)

CHS Inc. is hiring a Seasonal Truck Driver in Pierre, SD to support fertilizer and crop-input 
deliveries during the peak spring and early-summer season. This role includes a blend of 
driving, equipment operation, and light maintenance, ideal for candidates who enjoy 
hands-on agricultural work and consistent hours.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; ensure truck is fueled and ready
• Deliver product to fields and customer locations
• Conduct basic truck maintenance (oil changes, simple mechanical tasks)
• Operate a loader to move and load dry fertilizer from the shed
• Support operational and facility tasks as needed

Minimum Requirements:
• Class A CDL
• Ability to perform pre/post inspections and basic maintenance
• Ability to lift, bend, work outdoors, and operate equipment

Preferred Qualifications:
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements (helpful but not required)
• Doubles/Triples endorsement a plus
• Experience operating loaders or agricultural equipment
• Customer service experience in agriculture or related industries
