The City of Pierre seeks a passionate individual to join our team in making Pierre one of the best places to live, work, and visit. This position performs carpentry duties in the construction, repair, and maintenance of city facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS: This position performs all aspects of carpentry work which includes compiling material lists and cost estimates for construction projects, pouring and finishing concrete, renovates interior and exterior walls, ceilings, and roofs, repairs furniture and builds cabinets, bookcases and shelves.

WAGE: $25.02/hr plus comprehensive benefit package including 100% employer paid employee health, dental and life insurance along with a 6% employer match to the South Dakota Retirement System and 12 paid holidays.  Up to $2000 annual educational assistance available.  Wage offer will be based upon actual education and experience.
