Bicycle Ride Across South Dakota 2026
Bicycle Ride Across South Dakota (RASDak) ? Fort to Fort Ride May 31 ? June 5, 2026 The annual RASDak bike tour returns for its 13th year with a six-day, week-long ride following the Missouri River through South Dakota?s rolling hills, prairies, and historic small towns. The circular route begins and ends in Platte, SD, with overnight stops in Chamberlain (May 31), Pierre (June 1), Lower Brule (June 2), Burke (June 3), and Wagner (June 4), returning to Platte on June 5. RASDak attracts cyclists from across the U.S. and Canada and is 100% volunteer-supported, with proceeds benefiting South Dakota community, youth, and cycling causes. 2026 South Dakota State History Conference
Award-winning historian and author Dr. Bradley J. Birzer will be featured speaker at the South Dakota State Historical Society's 2026 Annual History Conference. ?Grit & Glory,? is the theme of this year?s conference. Marking the nation?s 250th, the event will bring in speakers from across the state and the nation to speak about the Declaration of Independence and wider issues about the nation?s founding.
