Spaten Oktoberfest offers a balanced flavor with a hint of sweet, almost candied malt. Shiner Oktoberfest: Nice blend of herbal Noble hops and bready malt, verging on toasty. The malty flavor is on the sweet side. with suggestions of caramel and toffee. Nicely rounded flavor and fairly lively mouthfeel. Leinenkugel's Oktoberfest: A traditional Marzen-style beer, Leinenkugel's Oktoberfest has a toasted malt flavor and subtle, spicy hop notes that make it perfect for celebrating fall in true German fashion. Samuel Adams Octoberfest: It's appearance is a pleasant amber color with some carbonation. OctoberFest has a caramel malt taste, low bitterness, and some tatness; its aroma has a sweet and nutty caramel smell that is not overwhelming.
