MAKE PIERRE WEIRD AGAIN: A ROCK SHOWS FAMILY REUNION Friday, August 16 Saturday, August 17 American Legion 520 S Pierre Street Donate/Purchase Tickets: https://gofund.me/bb3b0331 The sleepy town of Pierre, South Dakota was once a hotbed of DIY and punk rock subculture activity. Most of you know the story, so I won't elaborate further other than to say that there was a book published in 2016 documenting the history of the scene that can be found by searching This Road Leads to Nowhere: Pierre Punk. Additionally, our good friend and other central figure in the scene, Ocho, is currently working on a podcast documenting the stories of those associated with the scene titled, Song For The Night. In 2016, I set off to bring our scene family together again for the This Road Leads to Nowhere reunion festival that coincided with the release of the aforementioned book above. The reunion festival was a massive success; friends and family had a most excellent time and immediately talks began about doing it again ''in a few years.'' 2019 came along and I began the process of planning for the next one - a big bash in the summer of 2020. We all know what happened then... Now here we are, eight years after Road to Nowhere, and we're finally doing it again this summer!
