Rockin' Birthday Sock Hop

Oahe, Inc. is having its second annual “Rockin’ Birthday Sock Hop” as a fundraiser on Saturday, October 18^th at the CommunityYouthInvolvedCenter in Ft.Pierre. It will feature “Serious Sound” and their repertoire of ‘50’s & ‘60’s tunes. The evening will honor those turning “50” & “60” with a “Birthday” party as well as anyone else who would like to celebrate their birthday. People are encouraged to reserve (and decorate, if they so desire) a table for 8 ($80) and invite their friends to celebrate! Individual tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. The proceeds will benefit area people with developmental disabilities. The first 10 callers willing to bring a decorated “birthday" theme “Birthday Cake” will receive a complimentary ticket. The cakes, as well as other items, will be silent auctioned during the evening. There will be food, fun and entertainment from 6:00 PM till 11:00 PM. Era costumes are welcome. Tickets are available at American State Bank, BankWest locations or by calling Lois at Oahe, Inc. 224-4501. Anyone wishing to be recognized as a sponsor can call Chuck at Oahe, Inc. at 224-4501 or cquinn@oaheinc.com. Sponsorships range from $100-$249 (American Band Stand Award), $250-$499 (Gold Record Award) to $500+ (Platinum Record Award) and may be sent to Oahe, Inc., 125 W.
