Outside the Box: An Experiment with an Air Pump

Outside the Box is a new series for PPCT to perform scripts not chosen for the main stage, gauge audience feedback on new scripts or those by local playwrights, give more people an opportunity to be involved in our community theater, and broaden our reach into the community. Performances will be done readers theater style and open to the public to attend, with a free-will offering requested to help cover costs. The second performance will be "An Experiment With an Air Pump" by Shelagh Stephenson on Saturday, June, 10, 2023, at Grey Goose Store & Social Club. Come at 7:30 p.m. to enjoy a drink and mingle. The show will start at 8 p.m. 1799—On the eve of a new century, a Northern English house buzzes with scientific experiments, furtive romance, and farcical amateur dramatics. Present Day—In a world of scientific chaos and genetic engineering, the same house reveals a dark secret buried for 200 years.
