OMA Art Show Open House

Join the Countryside Memory Center as they celebrate the artists in their Opening Minds Through Art (OMA) Program. Opening Minds Through Art (OMA) is an art program that pairs participants (the artists) with volunteers (students, families, caregivers) who are trained to rely on imagination instead of technique, focusing on memory and remaining strengths instead of lost skills. This evidence-based program draws on an understanding of dementia and the needs of persons living with dementia.
