Miniature Historical Building Display
Visitors can see miniature replicas of historic Pierre buildings from Nov. 27-Jan.3. Building creators and their projects include:
-Walmart Bakery: United Church of Christ, SD State Capitol Building, Hughes County Courhouse, and the Farr House at 106 E. Wynoka.
-Ellen Lee (Dishes) and Scott Cameron (Muddy River Hobbies): Chicago & Northwestern Railroad Bridge
-Mindy Jorgenson and her children: Girl Scout Cabin
-Kara Hughes and her children: Pierre’s First Schoolhouse
-Mark Zickrick and family: Zickrick home at 421 N. Huron
-JoAnne Hipple: Oahe Chapel by the Oahe Dam
-Stacey Stueven and her children and Mary Gates and her children: Scurr House, 121 S. Washington.
A project of the Pierre Historic Preservation Commission, this is the fourth year for the popular miniature buidling display.
