Lake Area Technical College Open House Pierre

Lake Area Technical College invites you to an open house showcasing its newly remodeled nursing simulation lab at the Capitol City Campus in Pierre.

The event will be held Tuesday, April 14 from 4 to 5:30 p.m., with a brief dedication program at 4:30 p.m. The campus is located at 925 E. Sioux Ave. Community members, healthcare partners, students, and prospective learners are all encouraged to attend.

Guests can tour the upgraded facility and experience the latest in simulation technology. The lab features high-tech medical equipment and immersive tools that replicate real-world clinical environments, helping enhance hands-on training for nursing students.

The renovation was made possible through a generous grant from Avera Health. This investment supports the growth of healthcare education and helps strengthen the workforce in central South Dakota.
