Getting Started: LEGO League Coach Sessions (Community Engagement Session)

Help bring back FIRST LEGO League to central South Dakota, become a coach! Why? Because hands-on coding and robotics skills builds confidence for tomorrow’s careers, and it is a lot of fun (for you and the kids)! What is needed: coaches for 3-5 FIRST Lego League teams, in grades K-8, for the 2023-2024 season (Sept.-Jan.). The South Dakota Discovery Center, in partnership with FIRST LEGO League, is providing mentors, training, and money for materials and travel—we just need you! Can you step up? Are you curious? Join the Discovery Center and mentors to learn more on August 17, 2023, for either our Robotics PD Session from 1:00PM-4:00PM, or for our Community Engagement Session from 5:30PM-7:30PM. The choice is yours! We will be offering more coach and team training opportunities throughout the 2023-2024 FIRST LEGO League season.
