Educational Foundation Fundraiser

Governor and Lady Governor basketball season is about to begin. Kicking off both home-opener games, the Pierre Educationl Foundation will be serving Walking Tacos to raise funds for the Foundation. Beginning at 4:00pm on both Friday, December 11th during the Lady Governor's games, and on Saturday, December 12th during the Governor's games, walking tacos will be sold for $3 in the T.F. Riggs Lunchroom.
Also during both games, the Foundation will also be selling raffle tickets for a 32" Philips HDTV. Tickets are $2 each, or three tickets for $5. Tickets are already on sale at the main BankWest location on Pierre street at the front desk, and will be available to purchase at that location until 3pm on Friday, December 18th. The raffle drawing will be held later that evening at halftime of the Governor's Basketball game.
All funds raised from the walking taco and tv raffle sales will be put towards the Pierre Educational Foundation edowment. PEF promotes the further educational development of the Pierre Public School District students, staff and graduates through the delivery of quality educational opportunities and resources. The Pierre Educational Foundation is a perpetual fund designated to support innovative/creative projects intended to enrich life-long learning, and dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the tradition of excellence in the Pierre Public Schools.
