Cultural Heritage Center Closed

The South Dakota Cultural Heritage Center in Pierre will be closed Friday, January 1, for the New Year's holiday.
The center will reopen Saturday, from 9:00am to 4:30pm, and then be open Sunday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. The archives research room is also open 9:00am to 4:30pm on Saturday.
Sunday, January 3, is the final day of the historic building miniature replica display. There is no admission fee to see the miniature replicas; there is a small admission fee to the center's museum for adults 18 and older.
The Cultural Heritage Center is the headquarters of the South Dakota State Historical Society. In addition to the museum and a gift shop, the center houses the society's administration, archives, historic preservation, and research and publishing offices.
