Country Schools: Past and Present
Former Pierre resident Betsey DeLoache, the author of the three volume series "Country Schools: Past and Present," will tell stories of people who taught or attended country schools. It is made possible by a grant from the South Dakota Humanities Council, an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities. DeLoache will be speaking virtually via Zoom. People may participate via Zoom or at the Cultural Heritage Center. Seating is limited to 25 at the Cultural Heritage Center.
