Christmas at the Capitol Greeter Information Session - 2023

Christmas at the Capitol 2023 Information Meeting & Greeter Sign-up Mark your calendars, for Christmas at the Capitol 2023 will open on Wednesday, November 22nd, 2023 and continue through Tuesday, December 26th, 2023 with the Grand Lighting Ceremony to be held on Tuesday, November 21st, 2023 @ 7:00pm. This year’s theme is “Winter Wonderland”. Informational Meeting and Greeter Sign-up We have scheduled an informational meeting and Greeter sign-up for Wednesday, November 1st, 2023 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. at the Capitol Lake Visitor’s Center next to Capitol Lake. The meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will provide valuable information about this year’s Christmas at the Capitol event. Greeters will also have an opportunity to ask questions, provide feedback, and make suggestions during the group discussion. After the meeting, Greeters will be able to sign up on the calendar for the open time periods you want to work as a Greeter. Please bring your personal calendar along so you can write down the dates and times you sign up for. Shifts are scheduled as follows: 8:00 am to 10:30 am 10:30am to 1:30pm 1:30pm to 4:30pm 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm If you know someone who is interested in being a Greeter, please invite them to the Greeter Sign-Up and Informational meeting. Note: If you are unable to attend the sign-up on November 1st but would like to be a Greeter, please contact me at 773-3688 or email rick.augusztin@state.sd.us the day after Greeter Sign-Up and we would be happy to get you on the schedule.
