Booktalkin' Librarian

The Booktalkin' Librarian, Cindy Meinen from Mitchell, will bring a program about "Bugs in Books" to Rawlins Library for children in second, third, fourth and fifth grades at 1pm on Wednesday, August 6. Meinen uses props, drama, music and audience participation to bring stories and non-fiction books alive for everyone in the room. Afterward, refreshments will be served and new books will be available to check out. Readers can also "read and tell" about a favorite story and win a free book and then be entered in the weekly raffle to win reading prizes.
