Body and Mind (Shoots: 3rd-5th)

This summer camp is hosted by the South Dakota Discovery Center. Breathe! Stretch! Breathe! Did you know that when you have negative thoughts, you make your muscles weaker? Can stress make you sick? In this program, participants will participate in a “Fit Marathon.” Participants reach each mile marker by completing a health challenge. Participants will learn how our minds and bodies are connected and how you can use food, creativity, exercise, stretching, and purposeful breathing to stay healthy and ready to conquer the world.
