19th Annual Dam Run Hot Rod Drags Car and Air Show

Jim Peitz Aerosports will bring his Extra 300L to the speedway for an exciting, on the edge, demonstration of his aerobatic skill. His 300+ horsepower "hot rod" of the airways is capable of reaching speeds in excess of 250mph. A rare central South Dakota appearance you won’t want to miss!

7pm: Gearhead Reunion at Taco John’s & Pizza Hut in Pierre. Music by CJ’s Tune Time

Saturday, August 9

9 am: Hot Rod Drags at Oahe Speedway. All day test, tune & grudge races

9 am: Time Trails

10am: Show N Shine at Oahe Speedway

10am: Performance Auto Style Stereo Competition at Oahe Speedway

1:30pm: Eliminations

2pm: Jim Peitz Aerosports Show, Nostalgia Dragster Exhibitions at Oahe Speedway.

2:30pm: Kid’s Pedal Pull competition sponsored by RTC Pedal Pulls

4pm: Visit Spring/Cow Creek restaurants & attractions for Dam Run Specials

6:30pm: Oahe Down Stream Campground Ice Cream Social sponsored by Beck Motor Company and Game, Fish & Parks. Dam cruise leaves the speedway at 6:30pm

10am: Awards Ceremony at the Ramkota Inn of Pierre
