2026 Candidate Forum

The Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce Government Outreach Committee, DRG Media Group and Riverfront Broadcasting are working out details regarding a candidate forum that would include the Pierre School Board, Pierre Mayor, District 24 House of Representatives, Hughes County Sheriff, and District 24 Senate candidates. More information will be released in the near future once candidates can be confirmed for ballot appearance. The deadline is March 31st, but it takes some time for the Secretary of State to post the filed petitioners on its website.
