Leadership Pierre 2025–2026 Small Business, Financial, and Professional Development
The Leadership Pierre Class of 2025–26 officially launched on Thursday, September 11, 2025, with a jam-packed day centered on Business, Financial, and Professional Development. Sponsored by ISG, the session set the tone for a year of growth, learning, and community connection.
We started strong with “Leading Through Chaos” by Erik Therwanger, an engaging in-person session that challenged participants to think differently about leadership in times of uncertainty.
From there, the class hit the road for a variety of experiences showcasing the vibrancy of Pierre’s business community:

BankWest welcomed the group with a tour of the bank, followed by a dynamic small business panel featuring Robin Rowe (Pierre SBDC), TJ Gallagher (Morris, Inc.), Ryan Krueger (Krueger Contracting, Inc.), and Bob Burke (The Corner Station, The Crossing, and BankWest).

At Lucere Aesthetics, we got a look at how healthcare and wellness meet beauty through sustainable treatments.

BURN Fitness showed us how movement and community go hand in hand in building a healthier Pierre.

We wrapped the day at Bickering Brothers Distillery, where the class enjoyed a tour and closing reflections on the importance of local entrepreneurship.
