2024 Summer Reading Kick-Off Celebration "Wonka Party"
Join us for the 2024 Summer Reading Kick-Off Celebration on the lawn of Rawlins Library on Saturday, June 1st from 10AM-12PM. Build marshmallow towers, craft a candy necklace, create a gumball machine craft, enjoy ice cream and much more as we celebrate the start to Summer Reading. Kids of all ages are welcome to attend! In the case of inclement weather, this event will be held next door at the Oahe YMCA. LaFromboise Island Bike Race
Registration is now open for the longtime local favorite bike race, presented by Scheels All Sports! All ages and abilities are welcome. The Course is suitable for any trail bike type. It's fast and flat with a fun mix of tight technical turns on singletrack in the woods, sweet open sections of double track, mowed grass paths, rec trail, and a few sassy sandy spots. Each lap in the course is approximately 5.75 miles, with the number of laps depending on race division. Cash prizes are paid to the top 3 men & women in the Expert and Advanced divisions. Join our local Pokemon League - The UnFezant Flyers. Our local Professor can help you hone your skills or learn to play the game. Regulars can also come in and play against fellow pokemon players for healthy competition.
