State Historical Society looking for Children's book illustrators

Professional artists and illustrators have until October 3 to submit a proposal to be considered for the next children's book to be published by the South Dakota State Historical Society. Over the last 11 years, the South Dakota State Historical Society has published five award winning illustrated children's books, with two more coming out this year. If an artist is chosen, he or she will illustrate one of the children's books to be published in 2009 or 2010. Submissions should be sent to the South Dakota State Historical Society Press.
