State Archives Open House
The South Dakota State Archives is back in business in our newly renovated space, we'd love you to celebrate an open house on October 9th from 3-6 PM.
Special behind-the-scenes tours of the State Archives storage and work spaces at 3:30, 4:30, and 5:30 - catch one of the "very" few times the stacks are viewable by the public!
State Archivist Chelle Somsen will give a brief welcome and introduction.
Light refreshments will be served in the brand new Jay D. Vogt Education Room while a slideshow of photographs taken during construction plays, so you can see the transformation happening in front of you.
Public welcome! We can't wait to celebrate with you!
