Prairie Pages Book Discussion

Michael Bumann, formerly of Pierre, but currently living in China, is going to lead a book club, at Prairie Pages, on July 16, starting at 7:00pm. He will be leading a discussion on "The Good Earth" by Pearl S. Buck. It is "a poignant tale about the life and labors of a Chinese farmer during the sweeping reign of the country's last emperor". "The Good Earth" has been compared to "The Grapes of Wrath". We hope you will take this opportunity to read "The Good Earth".
