Politics in the Park

The Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce invites you to participate in the 2008 Politics in the Park, Saturday, October 4. The election event will be hel at the Steamboat Park amphitheater with a tentative time of 10:00am - 5:00pm. Politics in the Park will be moved to the Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce Community Room in the event of imclement weather. Politics in the Park is an opportunity for candidates as well as proponets and opponets of the ballot questions to present information to the public. Each candidate and group will have 15 minutes on the stage to talk about their candidacy or issue. They can use all 15 minutes to speak or they can include some time for questions and answers. Each speaker will be timed to ensure equal time is given to all.
