Pierre Players Production of Leading Ladies
Two down on their luck Shakespearean actors, Leo and Jack, plot to inherit $2 million from a dying millionairess by pretending to be long-lost relatives. Unfortunately, they soon discover that ‘Max’ and ‘Steve’ is short for Maxine and Stephanie and they must don dresses to play the part. The plot becomes twisted when love enters the scene. Jack tries to earn the affections of the roller-skating waitress, Audrey, while Leo tries to woo Meg away from her fiancé, the Reverend Wooley. How long can the charade continue as Aunt Florence lingers?
