With David Lindsay-Abaire's poignant and deeply personal 2007 Pulitzer Prize winning play, "Rabbit Hole", Pierre Players brings a cast of veteran actors to a captivating set on the stage of the Grand Opera House.
Directed by Pierre Players Artistic Coordinator, Donna Fjelstad, the play is about the Corbetts (Anne Rathbun and Dave Schiefen) who had everthing any regular family could want until their would was turned upside down. Round out the cast of well known actors undertaking this challenging piece are Izzy (Rebecca DalllaGrana), Nat (Jen Kanz) and Jason (Kris Monroe).
Teeming with heartbreak, compassion, honesty and wit, the show is acclaimed as one of the best new plays written in the last 25 years. A naunced and delicate piece of theatre about family relationships, loss, and hope, it has won almost every major playwriting award and has sold out to audiences across the country. It is not recommended for children under the age of 12.
Set designer and technical director, Scott Hipple has created a unique setting for this outstanding production of one of America's finest contempory plays.
