Pierre Players Present ''Talking With...''

The 2008-2009 Five Show season opens with Talking with?, a prize winning play by Jane Martin, starring fourteen local women. Eleven of them entertain with their individual stories, some hilarious, some poignant and some a combination of both. Enjoy an auditioner, a baton twirler, a snake handler, a rodeo rider, a couple of old women, one devoted to lamps and the other to McDonalds and many more. The entire show of vignettes is tied together by an original script developed by Assistant Director, Randy Hilding and starts three other actresses. Donna Fjelstad oversees direction assisted by Hilding, Jen Kanz, Kathleen Currey, Nancy Baker and Anne Rathbun. Beteran Actresses Penny Kelley, Laura Schoen Carbonneau, Rebecca Dalla Grana, Lee Ann Smith, Kathleen Currey, Anne Rathbun, Jen Kanz, Dez Fowler, Eileen Lindblom and Dorinda Timmons are joined by newcomers, Denise Hanisch Cameron, Stephanie Petrik, Samantha Dockter and Lydia Schulz. This show promises to be unique from many perspectives. Set design and construction is under the supervistion of Technical Director, Patrick Grode assisted by Randy Hilding and Jen Kanz. Kimberly Zerr is responsible for the array of distinctive costumes. The first show of the 41st season promises surprises, lots of laughter and perhaps a tear or two. Don?t miss it!
