Pierre Outdoor Pool Public Meeting
The City of Pierre Water Park Committee and Doug Whiteaker, the City of Pierre Water Park consultant, will present information and conceptual designs for public input in regards to using Steamboat Park or Griffin Park as sites for locating a new outdoor water park. Public comments regarding conceptual designs and pros and cons of each location are welcome. The report of the Water Park Committee will be delivered to the Pierre City Commission on August 18th. No appropriation has been made for a new outdoor water park in Pierre but the information gathered from these public meetings will be helpful to advise the Mayor and Commission.
