The 71st Annual King of Hearts Dance is set for Sunday, February 18, at the Riggs High School Gym with dancing from 8 a.m. to Midnight. The Coronation of the King will be at 11:00 p.m. by the Honored Queen of Jobs Daughters Bethel #10 of Pierre, South Dakota. The event is formal attire for students in grades 9-12. Tickets are $15 and currently available at Capital City Florist, The Hollywood Shop, Pink Petal, and Affections Floral & Wine or $20 at the door. Candidates for this year's King of Hearts are Dusty McCauley of Highmore High School, Ryan Habeck, Cale Meiners, Logan Kennedy and Logan Rosenberger of Stanley County High School and Carson Tschetter, Peyton Zabel, Matthew Maxfield, Kade McTighe, Davis Anderson and Caleb Lusk of T.F.
